The program further undertakes studies on safety and value improvement / addition of fish and other aquatic products for purposes of improving their shelf value, increasing their shelf life and product safety.

This program and that on Aquaculture Research and Development provide KMFRI with a window for scientific break-through on findings that have direct and immediate impacts on the National development goals.
